ACCAN Grants Scheme

The ACCAN Grants Scheme funds projects that align with our vision of a communications market that works for consumers – a market which is available, accessible and affordable for all. Projects should focus on developing research, advocacy, or educational tools that address issues for communications consumers in Australia.

There is scope for a wide variety of projects. Previous ACCAN grants recipients have produced research that has provided a strong evidence base for communications consumer advocacy. Grants funding has also been used to develop educational materials designed to empower consumers and communities.

The ACCAN Grants Scheme carries an annual budget of $265,000 and accepts applications during one round per year.

The 2013 round was open for six weeks from the 18th February until the 2nd April. Applicants were able to apply for funding of up to $60,000.
